Recent Actions: See More button does not work correctly (ID 264343)
When you click the See More button below the Recent Actions table, click the Back to My ECF button, and click the See More button again, your ECF session automatically signs out.
Favorite Cases table does not filter correctly by ID # column (ID 130257)
When a source system (example: MAXIS) is entered in the ID # column, a message is displayed, saying “No favorites found.” When a case ID is entered, the table filters correctly.
Worker communication: Details display incorrectly when message starts with date formatted as month/day/year (ID 254081)
- When you enter a message in the Details field, starting with a date formatted as month/day/year, with or without text after the date (example: 2/28/2025 Feedback due), ECF incorrectly codes the detail to show only the day, date, time, and year (example: Fri Feb 28 00:00:00 CST 2025).
-
Workaround: Enter the date after the text, or if the date must be first, enter the date with dashes instead of forward slashes (example: 2-28-2025 Feedback due).
Worker communication: Recipient list does not update when recipient is removed (ID 264857)
- After you select recipients and remove a recipient from the recipient list, the recipient list does not update.
- Workaround: Click the Cancel Communication button and start over.
Worker communication: Blank page when opening notification containing blue LiveCycle form (ID 133803)
If a worker communication notification containing a blue LiveCycle form is opened with a notification containing a document with any other file format (examples: red LiveCycle, PDF, TIFF), the other document opens, but the blue LiveCycle form is blank.
Workarounds: Do one of the following.
- Resize the page.
- Double-click the content viewer.
- Press F12.
Worker communication: Tabs for multiple documents displayed incorrectly (ID 131819)
When the notification contains multiple documents, the tabs containing the document titles are displayed at the bottom of the page instead of at the top.
Subscription: When a content item in a subscription is updated, subscriber is not notified until subscription is deleted and re-created (ID 189640)
When a content item in a subscription is updated, the subscriber does not receive a notification. After a new subscription is created and the content is uploaded, the subscriber receives a notification.
Mystery items are sorted by month and day of Received Date, ignoring year (ID: 260899)
-
Items may not sort in the correct chronological order.
-
Default sort is by Received Date.
Adding or changing content type may open incorrect drawer
- When adding or changing the content type and saving for later, the incorrect drawer may open when the mystery item is re-opened.
- Workaround: When you are ready to add a case ID or person ID, remove the content type and select it again.
SMI Down Mode: SMI is not selected for Person Search (ID 260403)
When ECF is in SMI Down Mode, search functionality is limited. For case search, you can use any source system, but for person search, you can only use the SMI ID type. If you are doing a person search, make sure to select the SMI ID type.

When uploading content and using a title other than the content type name, the file extension is added to the title (example: “Employment validation status check.pdf”).

- Items may not sort in the correct chronological order.
- Default sort is by Begin Date.
Person File: When sorting by case ID, cases are not sorted in numerical order (ID: 272371)
Case numbers of different lengths may not sort correctly. Example: When sorted from lowest to highest, case ID 1012345678 (10 digits) incorrectly appears before case ID 876543210 (9 digits).
Person File: Person subheader does not display all person identifiers (ID 190577)
The yellow subheader at the top of the page should display the person’s name, Social Security Number, person identifiers, age, date of birth, and language (if not English).
Person File: Person subheader does not consistently display language and need for interpreter (ID 190559)
If the person’s primary spoken language is not English, the yellow subheader at the top of the page should display the person’s language and need for an interpreter.
Case File: On Content History page, history items do not correctly sort by date (ID 202227)
History items are not sorted in chronological order, because one of the date elements (mm or dd or yyyy) is ignored in the sorting process.
Create Form from Template: Operation fails if no participants on case (ID 184837)

Report missing content: Drop box location
If the missing content was submitted to ECF from a Service Center drop box, the drop box location does not appear on the sidebar menu.
Workaround: If no batch ID was provided for a content item already in the case, the Imaging Operations staff may need to contact the worker who submitted the missing content report to determine the drop box location.
Report missing content: Change how content was submitted (ID 207237)
After you change how content was submitted on the Report Missing Content form, the Submit Report button is not available.
Workaround: Click the Cancel Report button and start over.
