Notification Expiration

If a notification remains in your notifications list longer than a specified time period, it expires and is removed from your notifications list. For some notification types, an email notification is sent before the notification expires. Following are proposed time periods for current notifications.

Imaging

  • Created before March 21, 2024: Notification expires after 6 months. No email notification.
  • Created on or after March 21, 2024: Notification expires after 90 days. No email notification.

Mystery Item (No Known Worker)

Notification expires after 90 days. No email notification.

Mystery Item (All Others)

Notification expires after 1095 days (3 years). Email notification to HSPH.RecordsRequest@hennepin.us 30 days before expiration. Three possible actions: Records Request staff contact the mystery item specialist, they work the mystery item, or they let the mystery item expire.

Recycle Bin

Notification expires after 30 days. No email notification.

Upload

  • Created before March 21, 2024: Notification expires after 6 months. No email notification.
  • Created on or after March 21, 2024: Notification expires after 90 days. No email notification.

Worker Communication

Created on or after March 21, 2024: Notification expires after 90 days. No email notification.
