Recycle Bin

The Recycle Bin page shows notifications for mystery items that do not belong in ECF.

Only workers authorized as mystery item specialists can view the recycle bin list and recover recycle bin items.

  1. On the navigation bar, click the Notifications button.

  2. On the sidebar menu, click Recycle Bin under Mystery Items.

  1. In the recycle bin list, click the link in the Status column. The item opens in a new tab.

  1. If the Welcome to IBM Content Navigator window appears, type your network ID and password, and click the Log In button.

  1. Do one of the following:

    • View notification history: Click the Notification History tab (actual text on tab may vary from illustration). To view history details, click the arrow at the end of the history item row.

    • Close the notification without recovering the item: Click the Unlock and Close button. On the notifications list, click the Refresh List button to display the full notifications list.

    • Recover an item (next).

  1. To add a detail about the item, click the Add Detail button on the sidebar menu, type the detail (up to 100 characters), and click the Save Detail button.

  2. Click Recover Item. The item is removed from the recycle bin list and added to the Unknown mystery items list.
