Report Missing Content
You can report missing content for all input sources (examples: mail, drop box, fax). Beginning with the mystery items list, your request is routed to various teams who search for the content.
Submit a report no earlier than 7 days or no later than 30 days after the content was submitted.
You can only have one active report on a case at a time.

Before filling out the Report Missing Content form, get the batch ID for a content item already in the case. In the case file, open the content properties drawer, and go to the Content Creation Info panel. See Content Properties Drawer.

On the sidebar menu, click Report Missing Content.

Fill out the Report Missing Content form.
The following information is required (indicated by an asterisk):
- When was the content submitted?
- How was the content submitted to ECF?
- Select your work area.
- What is missing?

What was sent with the missing content that is already in the case?

Click the Submit Request button.

While the search for missing content is in progress, the Report Missing Content link on the sidebar menu is not available and the Missing Content icon appears on the subheader.
- When the search for the missing content is completed, a Result to Requester notification is added to the requester’s My Notifications list, indicating that the content was found or not found.
